MetalTech UK were employed by Robertson Construction at University of Stirling - Campus Central to undertake a range of structural steel and complex architectural metalwork packages. The packages involved full design, calculations and drawings for this Contractor Design Portion. Metaltech safely coordinated the on-site installation working in close collaboration with all other contractors.Metaltech UK came to the table early on with great enthusiasm and problem solving ideas. Their proactive can-do approach in overcoming challenges was fantastic. They can rely on past experience in providing engineering solutions and also uncharted territory was approached with relish and momentum. Metaltech’s design capabilities are superb.Pre-planning of complex lifts and on-site installation was carried out with flair, integrity and professionalism. From the start, all health and safety issues were scrutinised and risk assessed which lead to a smooth delivery of complex engineering structures. Of note, was Metaltech’s approach to the ‘feature stair’ installation – a curved flight of stairs over 3 levels without central support, suspended off cast in angles into the floor slabs. Cleverly designed temporary works by Metaltech provided temporary support to the evolving feature stair structure as it emerged gracefully into view.I can honestly say that Metaltech have been approachable, honest and professional throughout all aspects of design, installation and commercial aspects of this exciting project.Kind Regards Robertson Construction Central East
